Trey Ketcham is an American entrepreneur who started his own company Peak Performance Development which is a sales and marketing business. His company is a dedicated affiliate of CUTCO, the world’s finest cutlery. Growing up, he was driven to be the best in every aspect of his life. Whether in school, sports, or even family card games he was driven to excel. Trey was fortunate enough to grow up with both parents and who had an extreme work ethic and compassion for other people. When he went off to college, he spent a long time trying to figure out the best way he could put together his drive and want to impact people into a career.
Trey Ketcham tragically lost his father at age 19 which changed a lot of things for him. His father was someone he looked up to and gained so much knowledge from. As his father was only 48, it put into perspective how precious time is and there is no better time to get started than now. Trey decided to start his business at age 22 because he wanted to be in control of his own density. Before his dad passed, he gave Trey the advice to never work for anyone but yourself because that is where the real opportunities and job security lies. Since Trey Ketcham made the decision to start his own company, his life work is currently mentoring young professionals in business. He helps them become the best version of themselves so that they can separate themselves from the crowd in their industry while still excelling in other areas of their lives.
One of the best strengths Trey Ketcham has is the ability to turn setbacks into drive to keep moving forward and making progress every single day towards your goals. All entrepreneurs face many challenges along the way but it is how you approach them that will determine your future success. One of the biggest challenges Trey faced when starting his own business was overcoming the doubters and self managing all aspects of his life.
Trey was inspired to get into his niche of sales and marketing because of its simplicity of product, limitless income potential, and ability to work with budding entrepreneurs. He values helping young business owners and people looking to start out by sharing his knowledge while putting a high importance on giving back to the community. Trey’s advice for those trying to start their own business is to work harder than all the rest and become an expert in your industry because taking that extra step is the difference that separates the good from the best. He expands by saying “Be resolute with your standards and goals but be patient with the time it takes to get there, it will all be worth it!”
