Social accounts

How did you grow your account in the early days?

C-Styles Music: I can say in the early days my platform evolved around Twitter mainly. I started off organically spreading the word about what new music I had going on along with given my viewers a quote that would be organic from me that my followers could relate to. Building a relationship was really my first goal in the foundation of my success.

Did you stumble upon any useful tricks or flows that got your content viral?

C-Styles Music: Far as tricks or flows, I would say is that even though I had many platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram ect. One good tactic is to focus on only a few. Try to master one or two of your social media accounts and then you will start seeing things go in your favor the way you want it. I do believe when your energy is all over the place, it’s harder to really focus in on your brand, brand awareness is very important in my opinion.

What are some secrets to virality?

C-Styles Music: Well one thing that I have done to get my brand and work notice was to definitely make sure to stay in touch with all who is supporting my work/projects and fans. I love building relationships with my true fans, when you see their just as excited about what’s coming next like me, it let’s me know their really rockin with me. So yeah, I can say staying committed and being consistent in communicating with my fans helped alot in my music career, because as I’m creating through passion what I love to do I want the fans to feel the project.

What’s a common misconception your followers have about you?

C-Styles Music: What I can say that a common misconception I get sometimes is that I only do just music, when really I have my hands in a few other things, one being the creator of a new Luxury Apparel company called TrueMind Apparel, and a new line from it called “Respect the Culture” coming soon as well. Being versatile is always a good thing as well.

What do you think you do better than most people? How are you able to do it?

C-Styles Music: I think I have a really good ear for music, it’s been something that I found in my early childhood that I do well. Music has always been in me. It’s like finding something you good at and mastering it, I went through the development stages like any artist would. It’s about finding your sound and growing it into what makes you so unique.

What are some of the best blogs you’ve ever read?

C-Styles Music: Blogs to me is definitely like a modern newspaper, me being a Hip hop head is always good to stay in the mix of what’s going on in the music industry. I would have to say a good blog I’ve read was when I came across Jay-Z reaching a billion dollars in net worth. That was very inspiring to me, not only as a music artist but also as an entrepreneur that anyone that makes good investment decisions and manage their time and money correctly can have significant rewards financially.
