When Trixie Isla-Velez was asked to write a 10 year goal before graduating college, her goal came to her right away: Own her own gym. She was already teaching fitness classes at the time, and she knew her heart was set on the fitness industry despite pleas by her parents to become a nurse after college. And even though she was already working in the space, there was a long road ahead of her before she would ultimately achieve that goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fast forward to 7 years later, and Trixie was working long hours for a local fitness studio in Hong Kong. She\u2019d come a long way since first starting, but she knew that it was time for her to take the next step in her career. She was adored by every single client that stepped through the studio doors, and her energy and passion was tangible from the moment each class began. She had also aided in the growth of the studio over the years, and had a great feel for what made a studio successful. So, she faced the hardest challenge of her career by putting trust in herself and her abilities and jumping out of her comfort zone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trixie left her old studio and never looked back. Although she had to move from location to location to host her classes, her people followed her. And as she continued to host classes, the number of people showing up to her classes grew and grew. So, by the time she was finally ready to achieve her 10 year goal of opening her own studio, she had a huge number of people waiting at the door for the very first class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
