While some teenagers were busy with parties and their studies, Aaron Ware was already building up his own business. His journey started when he ended his high school education. But having no diploma didn’t stop him from pursuing his dreams. Soon, he found himself being the owner of Pedley’s Solar, a major electrical service company with locations all over the country.

The First Step

Electrical services weren’t new to Wage. He followed his father’s footsteps and started as an electrician. However, despite working at a job he liked, he still dreamed of running his own business. In his blog post titled “Chasing True Freedom,” he described how he didn’t want an everyday life. The thought encouraged him to start his business.

“They’re going out and having dinner dates, having fun with their friends. This is fine for people who just want to have a fun time or spend time playing games online or on Facebook or Instagram. Whatever everybody does with their free time.

But I’m chasing freedom. I don’t want these handcuffs around me working till I’m 65 years old just so I can access money that’s been put away for me – so I can live a numb and boring life until I die. I’m chasing that freedom right now, and I’m encouraging every single one of you to get up off your asses too,” he said.

From then on, he worked hard enough to buy an established electrical business for $500,000.

Obstacles As Amazing Opportunities

However, suddenly changing gears had its downs. As a new business owner, Wage admitted that he made many mistakes. Despite those mistakes, he persevered, and before he knew it, the business’ worth grew to a staggering $20,000,000.

“One of the big things that really, really crushed me was trying to gather capital as I just hockey-sticked and grew so fast. I needed to start finding out: how the hell was I going to get all these systems installed in such a short amount of time so I could get the money in the bank straight away to buy the next lot of products,” he said in his blog post titled, “Success Can Kill You.”

“I was doubling month on month, which meant I needed to pay for more installers and more materials. It’s a really good problem to have, but it’s also a crippling problem. And it kept me up at night, I nearly killed myself, nearly lost all my employees.”

In his blog post, “Be Grateful for Obstacles,” he mentioned how accepting negative reviews and obstacles made him a better businessman.

“I changed my mentality around to: these are all obstacles coming at me for ways for me to grow. If nothing ever pushed you, if nothing was ever difficult, you’d never ever grow. You’d never ever be different. Your systems and business would just plateau,” He said.

He added: “So start to look at these obstacles that are coming at you, not as problems, but awesome ways for you to systemize your business, grow and hit that next level. Let’s transform your business from that little blood-sucking thing into a systemic, growing company that gets money in the bank!”

Guiding The New Age of Business

Since his business success, Wage now uses his experience to help other people succeed the way he did. He now uses various social media platforms to tell his stories and tips on developing a successful business.

Wage revealed if he had known the process from the start, life would’ve been easier. Even stating that he would have earned more than the usual $20 Million that he currently has.

“Now that I look back on it all and kinda have it all figured out I’m thinking you know what? It didn’t have to be that hard. I remember waking up in the middle of the night with heart palpitations from all the stress and nearly having breakdowns…and I just know deep down inside me it didn’t have to be that hard,” he said.

“I’m offering online training to anyone in the trades and construction business that wants to scale and scale properly without all the heartaches and sleepless nights. I want my course to be available to anyone and everyone.”
